Tana River Senator Dr. Danson Mungatana has been recognized as the Best Performing Senator on Oversight, earning the prestigious award in recognition of his contribution to strengthening accountability and effective oversight in the Senate.
Receiving the honour, Senator Mungatana dedicated the award to the people of Tana River County, thanking them for their continued trust and support. He also acknowledged the dedication of the staff in the Office of the Senator, led by Chief of Staff Danton Kitumbini, for their commitment and teamwork in advancing the office’s mandate.
As the senator was unable to receive the award in person, it was accepted on his behalf by the office’s Executive Secretary, Gloria Kadzo.
Expressing gratitude for the recognition, Senator Mungatana said the award serves as an encouragement to continue working tirelessly in representing the interests of Tana River residents and ensuring effective oversight of government institutions.
“We dedicate this recognition to the people of Tana River County and to the hardworking team in the Senator’s office.
