BARCELONA — FC Barcelona kicked off their 2026–27 UEFA Champions League phase in explosive style, putting on a dominant performance to dispatch Dutch side Feyenoord 5–1 at Spotify Camp Nou.

Hansi Flick’s side took control from the opening whistle, taking early command when Raphinha struck just 3 minutes into the match. New signing Karim Adeyemi doubled the advantage in the 22nd minute to cap off a dominant opening half for the Catalan hosts.

Raphinha completed his brace shortly after the break in the 57th minute before record-breaking youngster Lamine Yamal added a brilliant fourth from a free-kick in the 77th minute. Although Feyenoord pulled one back through substitute Sem Steijn in the 82nd minute, Barcelona quickly responded when substitute Gabriel Jesus sealed the 5-1 rout with an 85th-minute header.
