US and Iran Sign Historic Accord to Ease Middle East Tensions.

US President Donald Trump and Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian have signed an agreement aimed at ending the conflict in the Middle East.

Under the accord, Iran has agreed to reduce its uranium enrichment levels in exchange for being allowed to resume oil exports.

President Trump signed the agreement document during a dinner with French President Emmanuel Macron at the Versailles Palace, following the G7 summit.

The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Esmail Baqaei, was quoted by the state news agency IRNA stating that the agreement document has been officially finalized after being signed by the respective presidents.

Under the deal, the United States has promised to ease certain sanctions and support the establishment of a $300 billion fund for the reconstruction of Iran.
