​Three suspects remanded over Ksh 374K Marsabit school vandalism

​Three suspects have been arraigned in a Marsabit court facing charges of malicious damage to property at Kukub Farm Primary School in Turbi-Bubisa Sub-County, Marsabit County.

​Ali Abduba Yattan, Tura Katelo Ibrae, and Adano Jarso Sora are accused of jointly with others not before the court willfully and unlawfully damaging a metallic fence and other school property valued at Ksh 374,500.

​However, the suspects did not plead to the charges after the prosecution requested additional time to complete investigations.

​Marsabit Senior Resident Magistrate Edward Oboge granted the prosecution’s application, ordering the three to be remanded at Marsabit GK Prison. The case is scheduled for mention on July 23, 2026
