NAIROBI, KENYA — Deputy President Kithure Kindiki has departed the country for Tanzania to represent President William Ruto at a high-level regional state engagement.

Deputy President Kindiki will lead the Kenyan delegation on behalf of Head of State William Ruto, reinforcing bilateral ties and regional cooperation between Kenya and Tanzania.

Discussions are expected to focus on trade, regional integration within the East African Community (EAC), border security, and economic partnerships.

Senior government officials and diplomatic representatives accompany the Deputy President to facilitate bilateral talks with Tanzanian counterparts.

The delegation is expected to conclude consultations before returning to Nairobi later this week.
