Date:

NAIROBI, Kenya — The leadership of the Azimio la Umoja–One Kenya Coalition Party convened a high-level Parliamentary Group (PG) and National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting in Nairobi to address pressing national issues, internal party structures, and the coalition’s legislative agenda.

During the closed-door meeting held at Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka (SKM) Command Centre / Azimio House, Dennis Pritt Road], top coalition leaders addressed several core pillars:

The coalition reaffirmed its commitment to push for lower taxes and reduced prices on basic commodities, urging the government to prioritize public interest.

Principals resolved to streamline internal leadership structures to strengthen the opposition’s voice both inside and outside Parliament.

The team reiterated the need for transparent governance, strict anti-corruption measures, and public accountability across state institutions.

The meeting comes at a strategic moment as political parties realign their parliamentary forces and public outreach campaigns. Azimio continues to position itself as a key watchdog for governance, civil liberties, and economic justice in Kenya.
